Complete house refurbishment and extension with a contemporary feel | Crimicar, Sheffield
The clients brief was to create an entire house refurbishment whilst at the same time maximising the volume of their existing property by adding a two storey extension to the rear and side of the dwelling and a single storey extension to the front.
Again, a contemporary feel was created whilst still maintaining the values of the local vernacular.
The use of brick featured to reflect the existing house whilst the incorporation of white render gives the property a light and airy feel at first floor level. The use of timber panelling also provides a sensible palette of materials.
